Here's an optional introduction to     Elephant:





      One day our library decided to have a birthday party for Babar.  Remember Babar, the famous story-book elephant?  Well, Babar didn't actually come to our party, but lots of children came.
     Some of us made up elephant poems to tell at this party.  Here's the one I did.
